Intuitive art

Art – the process of expressing creativity

Art is the projection of our feelings about life. And it is a way we can communicate with the different parts of ourselves that we project.

Elias with paintingOur expression of creativity is our own energy manifested – an extension of ourselves so we can feel accomplished. It is an extension of our evolutionary process.

Colors represent qualities of life – and it gives us the opportunity to absorb in those energies.

To be in the creative flow and change

The creation is done only in the now – even the process goes on and on. It is an exercise in being creative in the now – being present in the now.

The important thing is not to produce a product to be admired by others, but it is the process of creativity – the joy of creativity. This creativity can be applied to many activities such as; dance, theatre, singing, music, painting, sculpture, collage etc.

Expression of our image

The figures or portraits represent parts of us or others, from this life or past lifetimes, from our dimension or other dimensions.

Raphael with paintingWe encourage students to engage in creative activities, especially painting. To be artistically creative is a miniature of the universal creative process and it gives an opportunity to train ourselves in being present in the creative expression in the now. To express our inner self, to communicate with our inner self, to engage in qualities of color and life.

We can only paint creatively and unique when it comes from our inner self – and there is no right or wrong way of doing that, we simply have to find our own form of expression. The only way is to do it and believe that you can. The painting process is the process of connecting intuitively to our inner self or soul. When we get in touch with this center we channel or transmit energy to the painting. Painting becomes the expression of qualities of the soul’s energy.

Elias started painting in 1958 – and over the years he developed his own style. He paints qualities of humans and the way he creates he describe as intuitive. You can call his paintings for Intuitive Painting.

When he paints a portrait he goes after the intuitive perception of the energy of the person portrayed. Sometimes the portrayed person is first recognized after the painting is done.

After Raphael moved to Calgary he started painting with the support and encouragement from Elias. Very quickly an artistic skill developed, much to his surprise.
